Home Remedies for Dry Skin. If sebaceous glands activity is not there in the skin then dry skin will form. Another name of the dry skin is dehydrated skin. This type of skin will contain very less liquid. When skin affected by the sunscreen it will be dehydrated. Other than this using the strong soaps, detergents, strong astringents, skin tonics also cause of this dehydration. Sometimes lake of C vitamin also one cause. Dry skin requires particular care and attention as it is prone to a variety of problems. I have some Home remedies and tips for Dry skin Care:

Drink lots of water. It helps to keep your body hydrated and can alleviate dry skin to a great extent. Eight to ten glasses is the minimum quantity, but ideally you should drink much more than that.

A warm glass of milk mixed with a teaspoon or two of almond oil, before bedtime, can work wonders

Before going for a bath, rub some honey all over your body and leave it on for five to ten minutes. Honey is one of the best natural moisturizers.

This tip dates back to thousands of years when queens bathed in milk. Yes, soaking in a tub filled with milk and warm water can do wonders for skin!

Coconut or avocado oil is also really good for treating dry skin

Try to include spices such as turmeric, cumin, and coriander in your diet. They help to soothe and relieve dry skin.

Mix 1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder with one teaspoon of fresh milk cream (Malai) and few drops of lime juice. Apply this mixture upon your face, massage your face till five minutes. Wash it off with like warm water.

An excellent remedy for dry skin is the juice of cabbage leaves with little bit of yeast dissolved init mixed with honey. Apply this mixture thickly over your face and neck. After 15 minutes remove it with cotton wool soaked in water.

Daily use a lot of moisturizer base.

Avoid using astringent

Massage the skin with almond oil or olive oil.

Use almond base face packs

Juice of red radish, cauliflower can be excellent remedy for dry skin.

Drink 3-4 liters of water daily.

Use a lot of fruit juice in your daily diet.

Daily exercise of any form (yoga, aerobics), walking can be very beneficial for overall skin.
